Creating and Managing Competitions

Set up sales competitions to drive team engagement and track progress with real-time leaderboards.

Overview

Competitions are a powerful way to motivate your team by gamifying sales activities. Create competitions around any trackable metric — closings, GCI, appointments held, dials made — and watch your team rally to hit targets.

Accessing Competitions

Log in and click Competitions in the left sidebar. This feature is available to users with portal access.

Creating a Competition

  1. Navigate to Competitions.
  2. Click New Competition.
  3. Configure the following:
    • Competition name
    • Start and end dates
    • Metric to track (e.g., closed units, GCI, dials, contacts, listings taken)
    • Participants (select team members)
    • Goal or target (optional)

Managing Active Competitions

View all active, upcoming, and completed competitions from the Competitions page. Each competition shows current standings, progress toward goals, and time remaining. You can edit competition details or end a competition early if needed.

Competition Metrics

Competitions can track any metric available in ClarityNOW, including:

  • Daily tracking metrics — dials, contacts, appointments, etc.
  • Transaction metrics — closings, volume, GCI
  • Pipeline metrics

Tips

  • Run short competitions (1–2 weeks) for daily activity metrics like dials and contacts.
  • Run longer competitions (monthly or quarterly) for transaction-based metrics.
  • Celebrate winners publicly to build team culture.
  • Use competitions during traditionally slow periods to maintain momentum.
