Overview
Tags and categories help you organize and filter your ClarityOPS workflows and tasks. Tags label workflows (e.g., "Buyer", "Seller", "Relocation"), while categories label tasks (e.g., "Documentation", "Communication", "Inspection").
Tags
Creating Tags
- Go to ClarityOPS > Tags (
/ops/tags) - Click New Tag
- Enter a name and choose a color
- Click Save
Applying Tags to Workflows
- When creating or editing a workflow, select one or more tags from the tag picker
- Tags show up as colored badges on workflow cards and in the workflow header
- Use tags to filter workflows on the Workflows page
Common Tag Examples
- Buyer / Seller - Transaction side
- New Construction - Special process workflows
- Relocation - Relocation transactions
- Urgent - High-priority transactions
Task Categories
Creating Categories
- Go to ClarityOPS > Categories (
/ops/categories) - Click New Category
- Enter a name, choose a color, and set the sort order
- Click Save
Using Categories on Tasks
- When creating or editing a task, select a category from the dropdown
- Categories show up as colored labels on task cards in the Kanban board and table view
- Use categories to quickly spot task types at a glance
Common Category Examples
- Documentation - Paperwork and document tasks
- Communication - Emails, calls, and follow-ups
- Inspection - Inspection-related tasks
- Compliance - Regulatory and compliance items
- Financial - Commission, escrow, and payment tasks
